Creating A Flowchart Excel
A process flow chart template uses symbols and diagrams to depict complex processes from start to finish.

To create a flowchart in excel you ll need to create a grid set and connect the shapes from the shapes menu and add the appropriate text. However if you want to use different shapes and a complex topology it is better to create your own flowchart. Then order the shapes. If you customize the premade template or create one of your own the wizard helps you map certain flowchart parts like swim lanes and connectors. Go to insert smart art.
Now we have a default flowchart. To create a flow chart grid in excel select all the cells by clicking on the corner of the spreadsheet as shown in the picture below left. The advantage here is we have pre drawn shapes. Place your cursor at the beginning of the text where you want to add a box.
